Impossible to use

Akai guys! Thanx for the update! Truly, your app returned to be great!!!

Why is there no record button on this app??!! That makes no sense!!! Whats the point of using this if you cant record anything?

I bought this app hoping to have some fun. I never got past the instruction screen. It crashes constantly on my iPhone 4. I tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing seems to fix the issue. Akai needs to fix this issue. If you are going to put an app on sale, you should make sure it works first!!!

Now this is sum b.s...cause i updated my impc & it crashes as soon as it starts

For some odd reason now, iMPC just shuts right on back down and closes it self out!!!! What is going on?

Before iOS 9, all I did every commute every day like an addict is iMPC over some music. I need this. You took it from me you guys! Why? Now it mutes iMPC when music is in the background. Im not one to 1 star for missing one feature, but you downgraded. I will fix to 5 when fixed. ❤️

Looks like another one for the Akai app graveyard (remember SynthStation?) now that the new pro version is on the iPad. Wont buy from these guys again. A couple updates and done. I dont care if the pro version is half-decent. I no longer trust this company.

A pocket MPC, Ive needed this FOREVER. thanks Now, back to playing it! ★ oh, review ok - works just like a classic MPC - does more than a classic MPC, honestly. for how Ill use it? opened, and playing 100%, immediately. functions are identical to what youre familiar with. export creation to your hardware MPC box when you get there. perfect. sub-community of kids sharing beats in real time on soundcloud? great idea, I see it working. not my thing, but.. great idea. it all works. when I first downloaded this app, nothing worked. happy x10

I want my money back.i tried to contact app support and it says page not found.very disappointed .i expected more from akai

Could be great but i guess theyre too stubborn to fix it.

It works well with my MPD218(if there was a better way to connect hardware + software w/o having to hold the note repeat button while plugging it in thatd be super cool). Also there are crashes every now and then when you edit the sounds in your kit. Would also be nice to have a few extra effects implemented in like reverbs, stretching and other stuff for sure. Would also be fantastic to implement some type of automation feature to control pitch, parameters of the effects. Also, maybe a way to export stems? But pretty cool overall!!! Again, has a lot of potential.

I can spend all day creating something I really love and then I can never get a clean upload of a sequence to sound cloud or as a .wav to iTunes on my laptop… Incredibly frustrating and renders the app significantly less useful. Nothing but skips, hitches, and gaps in the finished upload. Furthermore, I dont think the people who sold me this app care at all.

Every time I open the app, it crashes immediately. Before I had this problem, the app preformed incredibly. Please update the app so I can continue to make music.

This app would be great if not for so many glitches. It crashes often and recently would not open at all. I removed it from my device and re downloaded it from my iCloud. In the process I lost all the beats and custom sounds I made. Terribly disappointed. Dont buy it unless you dont mind losing your beats now and then.

Ive been using this app for a long time and i have made over 200 beats so far and uploaded to soundcloud but overall this app is amazing but i recently updated my iphone 5c and it closes when i go to the pencil icon which is for customizing your kit

Attempted to run this on my iPhone6. Crashed several times. Importing samples worked, in theory. They showed up, but the ends of the decay were truncated. I wouldn’t say this is the worst music app I’ve ever tried to use, but it’s close. Odd, too, as the iPad version seem(ed) much more stable when I last used it, but I was looking forward to having something on my phone I could use.

The app definitely has problems. It will randomly crash, some features do t work, and there isnt much to do with it. Its fun just to mess around with the drums, but if I find a beat I like, I cant really record it. If I want to delete the preset track, I hit delete and delete track, but that doesnt really work. Either it will delete almost all of it, leaving some fx or something, or it wont delete it at all. There are many other problems too. I only bought this because I saw the Ableton link thing. Hopefully I will be fixed.
